Classified General Correspondence and Related Records: 1931-1935
These records were selected for copying from records in the National Archives
to facilitate research at the Hoover Library. Both microfilm and Xerox copies are
available for the FESB’s correspondence reading file. Each version contains files not
found in the other. The Xerox version contains files concerning relations with trade
associations and other professional groups (50.0), publicity and publications (80.0),
general administrative concerns (100.0), and FESB personnel matters (leave, applications
for employment and efficiency ratings) (103.00). The microfilm version contains files
pertaining to a variety of state and federal programs designed to stimulate employment.
