                The Gertrude L. Bowman Papers is comprised of 4 folders (½ box) of
        correspondence, Xerox copies of selected scrapbook items, and clippings.  The
        correspondence largely concerns the Herbert Hoover house at 2300 S Street No. W.,
        Washington, D. C., and the "Little House,"  it a structure operated by the Girl Scouts
        of America.  The principal correspondent is Lou Henry Hoover.  Correspondence
        inclusive dates are 1925 - 1939, the Xerox copies of selected scrapbook items
        inclusive dates are 1914-1955, and the clippings inclusive dates are 1930-1965.
