The papers of James H. MacLafferty, member of the 67-68th Congress., personal
assistant to Herbert Hoover (1925-27) and President Hoover's liaison with Congress
and the Republican National Committee (1929-33), were given to the Herbert Hoover
Presidential Library and the Hoover Institution on War,, Revolution and Peace in two
segments (accessions 105 & 111) in late 1967. Literary properties were given to the
Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace.
