                This is a collection of Xerox copies of Herbert Hoover
        correspondence within the manuscript holdings of the New York
        Public Library. Items within this collection found to be missing
        within the Hoover papers were copied and interfield in the
        proper Hoover folders. This collection is not to be reproduced,
        quoted, published in whole or part, without permission of the
        Manuscript Division, New York Public Library. The inclusive dates
